It was joy to live with Birre and show him. Birre was something special with his wise and friendly character. 
Here at Kennel Polongain his line goes further through his two daughters (Polongain Vita and Polongain Agrafena), 
grandchildrens (Zchatsaj's Efim and Polongain Hinezka) and greatgrandchild (Phaedra Polongain Regina).

Birre was Top Male Borzoi in Sweden in 1992 --from junior and young dog-classes--,
before he moved to Finland to kennel Polongain.
In Finland he was Top 10 Show Borzoi 1994 and 1998.

Won the Finnish Specialty 1st August 1998 from veteran class under breeder/judge Patricia Murphy, kennel Oaklara's, USA.

Birre had the sweetest charming temperament, and he really knew how to enjoy his life.

Birre was not only handsome and successful Show borzoi, he was and still is something much more important:
 proven stud who gave through strongly the type he presented. He has already produced 13 Champions in three countries ( two working Champions). His offspring has been exported to Canada, Norway, Sweden and Russia. 

He is sire to Polongain New V-litter, New A-litter and New E-litter 

He was Top Producer #2 in Sweden in 1997, only beaten by his litter brother,
Int Scand Jap Ch Timirinja's Birkovich.

"Birre" showed his first ever progeny group at World Show 14th June 1998 (--biggest ever dog show arranged outside Great Britain--)
and what a result!! His progeny group went up to Best In Show! 
Borzois in his group were Swe & Fin Ch Polongain Vronski (dam: Polongain Rumjantseva),
Fin Ch Anabell (dam: Margiitan Queen Qaramell),
Swe Ch Zchatsaj's Chutka and Swe Ch Zchatsaj's Chazza (dam: Polongain Pamjatka).
