"Viiru" was a borzoi
every breeder could have been proud of. He was not only handsome and kind
companion but important also as stud dog. He was an exellent producer and used
for breeding all in all 13 times in 11 different kennels in Finland and in
Sweden. His offspring has proved to be good producers also. Fjor can be found
behind generations of Scandinavian borzois. So his legacy lives on through his
children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren...
BIS at Finnish Specialty Show 1985.
Viiru's progeny group was BIS at Finnish Specialty Show 1989 under judge
Marliese Schneebeli, Switzerland.
He has been awarded with Swedish Borzoi Club's
hounour prize for producing at least 10 champions
with at least two different bitches.
Viiru is sire to Polongain famous J- M- and O-litters.
